• Where is my Summer 1 Course? (Tuesday, May 8, 2012)
  
  Missing a course? You will only see courses in Blackboard for which you are properly registered. If you do not see a course  you are expecting, check your MyNec student portal to confirm that you are properly registered for the course. If the course is in MyNec, please contact your instructor. If the course is NOT in MyNec, please contact Student Services or the Registrar's office. 
  
• Important! Please Read! You may need to update your Java Plug-in (Monday, April 16, 2012)
  
  Since the maintenance on Blackboard early in the morning of April 15, you may have to update your Java plug in (to your browser), particularly to run the Office Hours tool.  There is a link to download the latest plug-in when you open Office Hours in  Course Tools.  You can also just download it here: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp    After installation, you may need to restart your computer.

• Students - Reminder Notice about Saving Copies of Coursework (Tuesday, April 3, 2012)
  
  Students:  Always make sure you have copies of submitted course work (including discussion posts) on your own computer, or other storage device outside of Blackboard.  Courses will close to you 30 days after the term or semester end unless you have an official incomplete for the course in your MyNec portal. Again, Blackboard should not be used as a place to store prior coursework.
